Played football with John. He was a great guy, with a big smile and a big heart.

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing.  We had so much fun in Art class he was one of the people I really looked forward to seeing at any of the reunions.  I never saw him.  I did meet his brother, Don and asked him several times about John.  RIP.

I remember "Big John" from his smile, his laugh and of course football.  I wonder how many of us remember how he could wiggle his ears in a huge way and do them alternately?  He was a good classmate.

John was a good guy, a good football teammate, and a good friend.  We wrote to each other in college but lost contact after that.  He was playing football at Hederson County College and I was at Texas Tech.  I looked for him at reunions too but he didn't attend.  I hope he had a great life.

John and I dated for awhile when he had his motorcycle. My mother, being an RN, refused to let me ride on the back of his cycle.  One day (I guess she had heard enough of my begging:), she said "YES" for only around the block. We did go around the block and made it back to my house safely.  Lots of fun!  Wish I could have seen John again. Loved his big smile!
